1995年出生于中国重庆，2020年毕业于皇家艺术学院绘画专业并获得艺术硕士学位，2025年毕业于皇家艺术学院艺术与人文专业并获得哲学博士学位，现生活和工作于英国伦敦。龚恒之的创作用寓言性的图像残片回应着当下正在消逝的历史感。他如变戏法的抛绳者一般，将绘画投向断裂之中，用黑色幽默引导观者在文化废墟中攀行，借此纪念一段从未真正存在却始终被渴望的时代。
Born in Chongqing, China in 1995, he graduated from the Royal College of Art with a Master of Arts in Painting in 2020 and a PhD in Arts and Humanities in 2025. He currently lives and works in London, England. Gong Hengzhi's works use allegorical image fragments to respond to the disappearing sense of history. Like a juggler, he throws his paintings into the fractures, and uses black humor to guide the viewer to climb through the cultural ruins, in order to commemorate an era that never really existed but is always desired.
