1987年出生于湖南长沙，2009年本科毕业于广州美术学院油画系，2013年硕士毕业于湖南师范大学，2015年毕业于中央美术学院进修班。现工作和生活于长沙。
陈牧甜独特的艺术语言与表达灵感源于长沙马王堆出土的帛书。通过油画、多元纺织材料、综合媒介、新媒体及装置等形式，艺术家致力于探索专属的思维传达方式，试图为现实生活中的人们构建充满奇趣的内心景观，使其暂离尘世烦扰。
Born in Changsha, Hunan in 1987, she graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2009, her master's degree from Hunan Normal University in 2013, and the advanced training class of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2015. Currently working and living in Changsha.
Chen Mutian's unique artistic language and expressive inspirations derive from the silk manuscripts unearthed in Mawangdui, Changsha. Through oil painting, various textile materials, mixed-media, new media, and installations, the artist explores an exclusive mode of thinking and communication, aiming to create an inner landscape full of wonder and fantasy—an escape from worldly troubles for people in reality.
