从事独立策展和影像批评，青岛电影学院摄影艺术与技术系学科带头人，山东师大赫尔岑国际艺术学院研究生合作导师。受邀担任国内多项重要摄影奖评委。作为策展人，曾参与策划了首届北京国际摄影双年展、2014济南国际摄影双年展、2015集美x阿尔勒国际摄影季、2017年连州国际摄影年展、2018南京艺术学院美术馆首届AMNUA摄影展“刷屏/劳作”、2020谢子龙影像艺术馆 “分层与合成：中国当代摄影的两个动作及其实践”、2021年南京美术馆“回首向来萧瑟处”、2023年代美术馆“眼保健操”当代影像展、2024年苏州寒山美术馆“未来档案”等多个重要大型学术展览。出版有《照镜子的人》、《表态》、《屏幕生存》、《追逐图像的人》等多部著作。
Engaged in independent curation and image criticism, the discipline leader of the Department of Photography Art and Technology of Qingdao Film Academy, and the postgraduate cooperative tutor of the Herzen International Art Academy of Shandong Normal University. He has been invited to serve as a judge for many important domestic photography awards. As a curator, he has participated in the planning of the first Beijing International Photography Biennale, the 2014 Jinan International Photography Biennale, the 2015 Jimei x Arles International Photography Festival, the 2017 Lianzhou International Photography Annual Exhibition, the 2018 Nanjing University of the Arts Art Museum's first AMNUA photography exhibition "Screen/Labor", 2020 Xie Zilong Image Art Museum "Layering and Synthesis: Two Actions and Practices of Contemporary Chinese Photography", 2021 Nanjing Art Museum "Looking Back at the Desolate Place", 2023 Times Art Museum "Eye Exercises" Contemporary Image Exhibition, 2024 Suzhou Hanshan Art Museum "Future Archives" and many other important large-scale academic exhibitions. He has published many books, including "The Man Looking in the Mirror", "Statement", "Screen Survival", and "The Man Chasing Images".
