1996年出生于长沙，现工作生活于北京。本科毕业于中央美术学院油画系第三工作室，同年保送研究生，师从刘商英，研究方向为当代绘画观念与表达研究，于2022年硕士毕业。
苏航的绘画以自我经验为创作起点，探索个人化的情感表达与感知线索。尝试将自身感知经验通过每一张具体的绘画实践中来回应和呈现个人在社会演变下的权力关系和心理状态。围绕现代社会内部的权力关系通过绘画媒介去展开个人化的回应与探讨。同时，希望根据不同的个人具身性问题意识，探索不同绘画方法去实践。将绘画整体当做对象的态度去追问个人记忆与集体记忆，现代社会中的权力关系以及作品与作者的动态关系等问题。
Born in Changsha in 1996, currently lives and works in Beijing. He graduated from the Third Studio of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree. In the same year, he was recommended as a graduate student. He studied under Liu Shangying. His research direction is the study of contemporary painting concepts and expressions. He graduated with a master's degree in 2022.
Su Hang's paintings start from his own experience, exploring personalized emotional expressions and perceptual clues. He tries to respond to and present his own perceptual experience through each specific painting practice to the power relations and psychological state of individuals under social evolution. He uses the medium of painting to launch a personalized response and discussion around the power relations within modern society. At the same time, he hopes to explore different painting methods to practice according to different personal embodied problem consciousness. He treats the painting as a whole as an object to question personal memory and collective memory, power relations in modern society, and the dynamic relationship between the work and the author.
