Yang's works include videos, installations, photographies, and paintings. Based on his research into the changing narrative methods, he discusses the reverse control and influence of images and narrative devices on human beings. His works are often created from existing films, literature, painting, and popular culture, responding to contemporary spiritual dilemmas and providing a new entry point into these existing materials.
