1935.1.4出生于浙江省绍兴县平水镇。1959年毕业于中国美术院油画系，1962年毕业于罗马尼亚博巴油画训练班。1988年赴巴黎国际艺术城进修半年。1959年后历任中国美术学院油画系助教、讲师、副教授、教授。
Born on January 4, 1935 in Pingshui Town, Shaoxing County, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the China Academy of Art in 1959 and graduated from the Tibet Oil Painting Training Class in Romania in 1962. In 1988, he went to Paris to study at the Cité Internationale des Arts for half a year. After 1959, he successively served as assistant, lecturer, associate professor and professor in the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Art.
