1992年出生于韩国，2014年毕业于清华大学美术学院绘画系版画专业，2018年毕业于中央美术学院版画专业，目前生活与工作在首尔。
金施矸将熟悉的生活事物和日常用品重新组合成具有塑料质感的物品。她只关注日常生活中常见事物的本质，剔除其不重要的元素。这些被还原成静物的事物并没有散发出任何温度，但却客观而简单，有时还流露出一种坦率的形态。这样，对金而言，画布上的一切都以最理想的虚无状态存在，现实生活的复杂性（即抽象性）在其中消失了。这也让她建立起自己远离现实的乌托邦。这个空间给人的感觉就像一个失重的世界，它是如此地自由和宁静，以至于能让我们忘却世间的任何烦恼和忧虑。
Born in 1992 in South Korea, graduated from Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts in 2014 with a degree in printmaking, and graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2018 with a degree in printmaking.
Xian Kim reassembles familiar things and everyday objects into objects with plastic texture. She focuses only on the essence of common things in daily life and eliminates their unimportant elements. These things reduced to still lifes do not emit any temperature, but are objective and simple, sometimes exuding a frank form. In this way, for Kim, everything on the canvas exists in the most ideal state of nothingness, in which the complexity (i.e. abstraction) of real life disappears. This also allows her to establish her own utopia away from reality. This space feels like a weightless world; it is so free and serene that it can make us forget any of the worries and cares of the world.
