1972年出生于浙江宁波。1994-1998年在中央美术学院壁画系本科学习，2001-2002年就读中央美术学院油画系硕士，2003-2007年就读中央美术学院油画系博士，1998年获冈松家族艺术基金（冈松奖学金），现任中央美术学院壁画系副教授。
