1980年生于中国湖南，2007年毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系，获学士学位，现工作生活于北京。
杨心广的创作以植物、泥土等自然物为题材，亦常将这些材料与工业物料交缠、叠加、并置使用。他探讨自然物在人类生存空间中的特殊状态，并时常以富于幽默感的方式赋予两者新的讨论语境。在他的实践中，草木泥石不再被视为被动之物，它们以极具主体性的姿态反向侵入和颠覆着现代发展观的叙事逻辑。
Born in Hunan, China in 1980. He graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in 2007. He currently works and lives in Beijing.
Yang Xinguang's work often employs natural materials, like plants and soil, which are intertwined, superimposed, and juxtaposed with industrial elements. He explores the special status of natural objects amid the living environment of human beings and brings new perspectives and contexts to the relationship between the natural and the artificial in a humorous way. In his practice, vines, branches, mud, and rocks reverse their roles as objects and, instead, invade and subvert the narrative of modernity with their subjectivity.
