1990年生于武汉，2012年本科毕业于中国湖北美术学院油画专业，2018年硕士毕业于旧金山艺术学院，现工作生活于上海。
陈开的创作探索了绘画色彩理论，抽象和极简主义思想。以繁覆的冥想性阴影标记，点画方式，色调分层模型来深入探讨抽象绘画的多重表达形式与情感融入。他的绘画所展现的独特视觉语言意在超越传统男性气质的有限定义，进而对[崇高] (The Sublime)这一理念做出更为广泛的思考和开拓。
Born in Wuhan in 1990, he graduated from the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in China with a bachelor's degree in oil painting in 2012, and received a master's degree from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2018. He currently works and lives in Shanghai.
Chen Kai's creations explore painting color theory, abstraction and minimalist ideas. He uses complex meditative shadow marks, pointillism, and tonal layering models to deeply explore the multiple expressions and emotional integration of abstract painting. The unique visual language displayed in his paintings is intended to transcend the limited definition of traditional masculinity, and then to think more broadly about and develop the concept of "The Sublime".
