1992年出生于中国杭州，2016年获得芝加哥艺术学院（School of the Art Institute of Chicago）艺术学士学位，现生活工作于上海。
夏乔伊的创作在震荡的全球化背景下试图以精神分析式的方法展开对个体、艺术史以及当代文化中符号的转换和变异。他的日常实践囊括了雕塑、绘画等媒介，并试图从材料、肌理、形式等元 素中传达情绪和张力。
Born in Hangzhou, China in 1992, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2016, and now lives and works in Shanghai.
Xia Joy's creations attempt to use psychoanalytic methods to transform and mutate symbols in individuals, art history, and contemporary culture against the backdrop of turbulent globalization. His daily practice includes sculpture, painting and other media, and he attempts to convey emotions and tension from materials, textures, forms and other elements.
