Dorota Gaweda (b. 1986 in Lublin, Poland) and Egle Kul- bokaite (b. 1987 in Kaunas, Lithuania) are an artist duo liv- ing and working in Basel, Switzerland. They work in mul- tiples across performance, painting, sculpture, fragrance, and video installation- where language breaks down and one genre morphs into many. They are the founders of the YOUNG GIRL READING GROUP (2013–2021).
Dorota Gaweda holds a B.A. from Middlesex University (2010) and M.A. from Royal College of Art (2012) in Lon- don. Egle Kulbokaite holds a B.A. Warwick University in Coventry (2009) and M.A. from MA Royal College of Art in London (2012).
