1985年生于香港，她以中医药材作为艺术媒介，创作装置、雕塑、及录像作品，探索自然中隐性的关联、模式、及系统。因自幼接触中医药材，她的艺术实践受其影响，着重对日常生活环境、自然、及宇宙的感知与观察，同时融汇中医知识和思想理论，探讨万物的形式、物质性、形而上学、关系性、及宇宙学。
苏咏宝曾于香港Para Site 艺术空间（2025）及香港大馆当代美术馆（2018）举办个展。她亦将参与2025年首尔媒体城市双年展。她的作品于不同机构及双年展中展出，包括香港Para Site 艺术空间（2024及2020）、香港艺术馆（2024）、台北朱铭美术馆（2024）、第13届台北双年展（2023）、第14届上海双年展（2023）、上海明珠美术馆（2023）、北京X美术馆（2023）、加德满都三年展（2022）、香港艺术推广办事处（2021）、北京尤伦斯当代艺术中心（2020）、香港刺点画廊（2020）、香港中环艺穗会（2015）、及香港牛棚艺术村（2013）等。
苏咏宝现于香港生活及工作。
Born in Hong Kong in 1985, she creates installations, sculptures, and videos using Chinese medicinal ingredients as artistic materials, excavating the hidden interconnections, patterns, and systems within nature. Her practice is influenced by her formative encounters with traditional Chinese medicine, drawing on its emphasis on a sensitivity and observation towards the living environment, nature and the Universe. So applies the same theory of knowledge in her investigation of forms, materiality, metaphysics, relationality and cosmology.
So’s solo exhibitions took place at Para Site (2025) and Tai Kwun Contemporary (2018), among others. She will also take part in the upcoming Seoul Mediacity Biennale (2025). Her work has been exhibited in institutions and biennales, including Para Site (Hong Kong, 2024 & 2020), Hong Kong Museum of Art (Hong Kong, 2024), Ju Ming Museum (New Taipei, 2024), the 13th Taipei Biennial (Taipei, 2023), the 14th Shanghai Biennale (Shanghai, 2023), Pearl Art Museum (Shanghai, 2023), X Museum Triennale (Beijing, 2023), Kathmandu Triennale (Kathmandu, 2022), Art Promotion Office (Hong Kong, 2021), UCCA Center for Contemporary Art (Beijing, 2020), Blindspot Gallery (Hong Kong, 2020), Hong Kong Fringe Club (Hong Kong, 2015) and Hong Kong Cattle Depot Artist Village (Hong Kong, 2013), among others.
So currently lives and works in Hong Kong.
