1987年出生于广西南宁。2010年毕业于广西艺术学院，是2020-2021年四川美术学院年度驻留艺术家。现生活和工作于厦门。
黄启佑所创造的那些风景，常是一些四下无人、寒烟衰草的荒凉之境，三两山石、几只仙鹤、一把长凳、一座孤塔、些许枯树，每件元素都好似来自 于不同故事和不同时期的残件、废墟，散落在冷清的空间配置中，观之使人产生一种古今之感。一个独特的风景取决于构成元素的形和式，以及元素之间组合的空间配置。无论是浪漫主义时期的欧洲还是秉承怀古精神的中国，在两者的审美传统中，废墟和残件因其不完整性具备了时间的维度，并承载了记忆的功能，故而成为一种理想风景的书写元素。
Born in Nanning, Guangxi in 1987. Graduated from Guangxi Art Institute in 2010 and is the annual resident artist of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute from 2020 to 2021. Currently lives and works in Xiamen.
The landscapes created by Huang Qiyou are often desolate places with no one around, cold smoke and decaying grass. There are a few rocks, a few cranes, a bench, a solitary tower, and some dead trees.
