上田义彦 Yoshihiko Ueda ( b.1957 )

1957年出生于日本兵库县,摄影艺术家,多摩美术大学平面设计系教授。曾荣获日本摄影学会奖作家奖、东京ADC奖、纽约ADC奖等国内外多项大奖。其代表作包括:捕捉美洲原住民神圣森林的《QUINAULT》;前卫舞踏家天儿牛大的肖像集《AMAGATSU》;以自身家庭为拍摄对象的《At Home》等。2019年,上田自编自导自摄电影《椿之庭》,通过描绘一群在失去家主、因房产继承税而苦恼的人们,以及日本传统住宅与庭院四季更迭的日常景象,展现人生的失落与重生。


Born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan in 1957, he is a photographic artist and professor of the Graphic Design Department at Tama Art University. He has won many awards at home and abroad, including the Japan Photographic Society Award, the Tokyo ADC Award, and the New York ADC Award. His representative works include: "QUINAULT", which captures the sacred forest of Native Americans; "AMAGATSU", a portrait collection of avant-garde butoh artist Amagatsu; "At Home", which takes his own family as the subject. In 2019, Ueda wrote, directed, and filmed the film "Tsubaki no Niwa", which depicts a group of people who have lost their heads and are troubled by property inheritance taxes, as well as the daily scenes of the changing seasons of traditional Japanese houses and courtyards, showing the loss and rebirth of life.
