Born in Trodena, Italy in 1963, he graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna in 1988. He studied under Professor Adolf Frohner, a representative of Vienna Actionism. He currently lives and works in Trodena, Italy and Berlin, Germany. The artist's paintings are between abstraction and figuration. They do not show a specific individual, but a description of an anonymous illusion. His portraits are mysterious and out of focus, with a calm perspective and blurred outlines; his spatial works focus on the spatial structure composed of light-sensitive colors and minimalist geometric forms. The endless horizon in the works triggers the viewer's pursuit of the distant intention, presenting a kind of silence and invisible perception that transcends real time and real existence.
Bosisio's works have participated in several important international art exhibitions, such as the 54th Venice Biennale (La Biennale di Venezia, 2011), the British Portrait Award (BP Portrait Award, 2020), etc. His works are also collected by many art institutions and private collectors, such as the Hugo Voeten Foundation. The acclaimed Oscar-winning film director Wim Wenders is also one of Bosisio's important collectors in Europe.
