1982年出生于上海，2005年毕业于上海大学美术学院版画系，现生活工作于上海。
凭借对绘画的敏感性，林清在作品中讨论比例与关系，重复与秩序，理性与感知等议题。这种回到绘画性本身的创作方式，让观众既在画面内容中发现兴致，也引发出对绘画过程本身控制和取舍的思考。

With his sensitivity to painting, Lin Qing discusses such issues as proportion and relationship, repetition and order, rationality and perception in his works.
