朱日新的作品层层叠叠，交相辉映。他的每件作品都根植于地理，更基于地形。这些精心复制的地图和广袤的土地成为背景材料，地貌的描绘在人为的操作下一点点被改变。
这些曾经作为实用工具的地图变得栩栩如生，不再代表人们居住的领土，成为了独立的生命的表征。人类在土地上行走，活动的区域被涂抹、着色并突出显示，边界简化为线条。朱日新用水墨和色彩反对地理结构的定义及其标记。
情感和美感取代了曾经引导我们视线的刻度、图例和象形符号，科学的对象变成了沉思的对象。通过将地域与其艺术和情感价值联系起来，朱日新引导人们重新思考对人类对生态系统、社会和环境结构的控制。
他的作品曾在中国和国际各大美术馆展出，包括列宾美术学院美术馆、何香凝美术馆和中央美术学院美术馆。
Born in 1986, Jiujiang, China. He lives and works in Beijing.
Zhu Rixin's work is an interplay of strata and layers. Each of his works is rooted in geography, and even more so in topography. These meticulously reproduced maps and expanses of land become background materials, modified little by little in the image of the human hand on landscapes.
The once utilitarian maps come to life, no longer representing inhabited territory but a living surface in its own right. Humans walk on them, areas are painted, colored and highlighted. Borders become the lines of a work. With ink and color, Zhu Rixin opposes the structural definition of geography and its markers.
Emotion and beauty replace the scales, legends and pictograms that once guided our eye. The scientific object has become an object of contemplation. By linking the territory to its artistic and emotional value, Zhu Rixin invites us to reconsider our power over ecosystems and social and environmental structures.
His work has been exhibited in Chinese and international museums, including the Repin Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum, the He Xiangning Art Museum and the CAFA Art Museum.
