倪贻德 Ni Yide ( 1901-1970 )

笔名尼特。浙江杭州人。1919年考入上海美术专科学校学画,1922年毕业后留校任教。著有《玄武湖之秋》、《东海之滨》等文学作品,参加”创造社”。1927年留学日本,入东京川端绘画学校学画。1928年回国,在广州、武昌、上海等地从事美术教育。1931年与庞薰琹等人发起组织”决澜社”。曾撰写《西洋画概论》、《水彩画新研究》、《画人行脚》等著作。1938年入郭沫若主持的政治部第三厅,任美术科代科长。1944年起任教于国立艺术专科学校。后历任中央美术学院华东分院副院长、中国美术家协会常务理事、浙江美术家协会副主席等职。倪贻德兼擅油画、水彩、速写。其油画结构坚实,体面分明,笔触粗犷有力,色调清新概括,具有鲜明的艺术个性。出版有《倪贻德画集》、《倪贻德美术论集》等。倪贻德是中国现代著名的油画家、美术理论和艺术教育家,并在中国现代文学史上也占有一席之地。


尼特, pen Name, born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He was admitted to Shanghai Fine Arts College in 1919 to study painting. After graduation in 1922, he stayed in the school to teach. He wrote literary works such as "玄武湖之秋" and "东海之滨" and joined the "创造社". In 1927, he studied in Japan and studied painting at the Tokyo Kawabata Painting School. He returned to China in 1928 and engaged in art education in Guangzhou, Wuchang, Shanghai and other places. In 1931, he and Pang Xunqin and others initiated the organization of the "决澜社". He wrote books such as "西洋画概论", "水彩画新研究" and "画人行脚y". In 1938, he joined the Third Department of the Political Department headed by Guo Moruo and served as the acting head of the Fine Arts Department. He taught at the National Art College from 1944. Later, he served as the vice president of the East China Branch of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the executive director of the Chinese Artists Association, and the vice chairman of the Zhejiang Artists Association. Ni Yide was good at oil painting, watercolor and sketching. His oil paintings have a solid structure, clear appearance, rough and powerful brushstrokes, fresh and concise tones, and a distinct artistic personality. He has published "倪贻德画集" and "倪贻德美术论集". Ni Yide is a famous modern Chinese oil painter, art theorist and art educator, and also occupies a place in the history of modern Chinese literature.
