笔名黄易，著名书画艺术家、美术教育家、金石篆刻家。生于江苏无锡。早年受过造型艺术的严格训练，担任艺术大师徐悲鸿教授的秘书前后长达20年之久，成为徐悲鸿的得意弟子。悲鸿大师曾评价其“于艺卓然有所树立，开中国绘画新境界，知名当世”。1929年起历任国立美术院校讲师、副研究员、副教授、教授。在徐悲鸿的影响下，长期刻苦勤奋、努力不懈、虚心好学、博览群书、重视实践、摒斥空谈。他不仅在素描、油画、水彩、肖像、国画、山水、人物、花卉方面，而且在书法篆、隶、行、楷和金石篆刻，以及美术评论、诗文、楹联等方面都功深力厚，蹊径独造。
黄养辉教授曾任南京大学教授、《世界华人美术名家年鉴》编委会特聘顾问、曼谷中国画院名誉院长等职，历任江苏省第五、第六届政协委员。中国美术家协会会员、中国书法家协会会员、金陵印社名誉社长、江苏国画院一级美术师。入选英国剑桥《第一批名人列传》、《美国国际5000名人列传》、《日本中国现代书画篆刻名人鉴》、《中国美术家年鉴》、《香港当代中国书画名人大展》，并被特聘为英国剑桥大学传记协会副总裁、美国国际名人研究学院主任委员，并被授予“艺术家成功的金钥匙奖”、“终身成就艺术金像荣誉奖”、“二十世纪绘画成就国际荣誉奖”。著有《黄养辉艺术文集》、《黄养辉书画集》、《黄养辉画集》等六种专著。
黄易, pen name, is a famous painter, art educator, and seal engraver. He was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu. He received rigorous training in plastic arts in his early years and served as the secretary of the art master Professor Xu Beihong for 20 years, becoming Xu Beihong's favorite disciple. Master Beihong once commented that he "has established himself in art, opened a new realm of Chinese painting, and is well-known in the world." Since 1929, he has served as a lecturer, associate researcher, associate professor, and professor at the National Academy of Fine Arts. Under the influence of Xu Beihong, he has been hardworking, diligent, modest, studious, well-read, valued practice, and rejected empty talk. He is not only good at sketching, oil painting, watercolor, portrait, Chinese painting, landscape, figure, and flower, but also in calligraphy, seal, official, running, regular script, and seal engraving, as well as art criticism, poetry, couplets, etc. He has profound skills and unique ways.
Professor Huang Yanghui has served as a professor at Nanjing University, a special consultant to the editorial board of the "Yearbook of World Chinese Artists", and the honorary president of the Bangkok Chinese Painting Academy. He has served as a member of the Fifth and Sixth CPPCC of Jiangsu Province. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the honorary president of the Jinling Seal Society, and a first-class artist of the Jiangsu Chinese Painting Academy. He was selected into the "第一批名人列传" of Cambridge, UK, the "美国国际5000名人列传", the "日本中国现代书画篆刻名人鉴", the "中国美术家年鉴", and the "香港当代中国书画名人大展". He was specially appointed as the vice president of the Cambridge University Biographical Association, UK, and the chairman of the American International Celebrity Research Institute. He was also awarded the "Golden Key Award for Artist Success", "Lifetime Achievement Art Golden Image Honorary Award", and "20th Century Painting Achievement International Honorary Award". He has written six monographs, including "黄养辉艺术文集", "黄养辉书画集", and "黄养辉画集".
