1974年3月出生于江苏省丰县，现居大理和苏州。他于1995年毕业于苏州工艺美术学校，2001年毕业于清华大学美术学院。
他尝试着从自己的生活出发，通过艺术重新建立起他和周围空间、人群的关系，用他对生活的切身体验来探讨艺术和社会相互影响的可能性。他的作品形式包括录像、照片、绘画、装置、纪录片和写作等，近年完成的艺术项目主要包括《蓝色图书》（2008-2009）、《仇庄项目》（2013-2017）、《龙浒峡植物谱》（2020）和《长城下的植物》（2024）。
Born in 1974 in Feng County, Jiangsu Province, China, and currently lives and works in Feng County and Suzhou. He graduated from the Suzhou School of Art and Design in 1995 and the Academy of Art at Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 2001.
He attempts to start from his own life, using art to rebuild his relationship with the surrounding space and people, exploring the potential interactions between art and society through his personal experiences of life. He has created works across various mediums, including video, photography, installation, documentary, drawing, and writing. His art projects include "Blue Book" (2008-2009), "Qiuzhuang Project" (2013-2017), "Flora of Longhu Gorge" (2020), and "Plants Under the Great Wall" (2024).
