1988 年⽣于台湾台北，是台北新庄区百年糊纸老店「新兴糊纸店」的第四代。他擅长制作富有表现⼒的纸扎雕塑，并透过定格动画将雕塑呈现于他的录像作品中。 2022 年，张徐展获得台湾⾦⾺奖最佳动画短⽚奖。 2021 年，他成为第⼀位获得德意志银⾏年度艺术家奖的台湾艺术家。他的个展曾于台北市立美术馆（2022）、台北数位艺术中⼼（2015）、台湾国立博物馆（2012）等地举⾏。今年，他即将参与在澳⼤利亚昆⼠兰美术馆举办的第 11 届亚太当代艺术三年展（2024）。张徐展的作品被香港 M+、德国杜塞尔多夫 KAI 10 Arthena Foundation 和韩国⾸尔国立现代与当代艺术博物馆收藏。他曾入选亚洲⽂化协会 2023 年台湾奖助计划。张徐展现于台湾台北⽣活和⼯作。
Born in 1988 in Taipei, Taiwan, he is the fourth generation of the century-old paper-pasting shop "Xinxing Paper-pasting Shop" in Xinzhuang District, Taipei. He specializes in making expressive paper sculptures and presents them in his video works through stop-motion animation. In 2022, Chang Hsu-zhan won the Taiwan Gold Award for Best Animated Short Film. In 2021, he became the first Taiwanese artist to win the Deutsche Bank Artist of the Year Award. His solo exhibitions have been held in Taipei Fine Arts Museum (2022), Taipei Digital Art Center (2015), National Taiwan Museum (2012), etc. This year, he will participate in the 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art held at the Queensland Art Gallery in Australia (2024). Chang Hsu-zhan's works are collected by M+ in Hong Kong, KAI 10 Arthena Foundation in Düsseldorf, Germany, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, South Korea. He was selected for the Asian Cultural Council's 2023 Taiwan Fellowship Program. Zhang Xuxian lives and works in Taipei, Taiwan.
