袁雅芝 Yuen Nga Chi ( b.1994 )

1994 年⽣于香港,透过摄影和录像思考城市环境中的社会⽂化现象。她常常聚焦由内地迁徙到香港的移⺠家庭。袁雅芝曾于香港 WMA Space(2023)及香港国际摄影节(2021)举办个展。她亦曾参与台北凤甲美术馆(2023)、香港⼤馆(2022)、香港 Para Site艺术空间(2022)及香港艺术中⼼(2021)的群展。她的作品曾在多个艺术节展出,包括台湾国际录像艺术展 (2023)、京都Kyotographie(2023)及新加坡国际摄影节(2018)。袁雅芝曾入围2022 年 Para Site「2046 酝酿奖助⾦」计划,并于 2020 年入围香港⼈权艺术奖。 2019 年,她荣获 WMA ⼤师摄影奖。袁雅芝现于香港⽣活和⼯作。


Born 1994 in Hong Kong, she uses photography and video to reflect on socio-cultural phenomena in urban environments. She often focuses on migrant families who migrated from the mainland to Hong Kong. Yuen Ya-Chi has held solo exhibitions at WMA Space in Hong Kong (2023) and the Hong Kong International Photography Festival (2021). She has also participated in group exhibitions at Fengjia Art Museum in Taipei (2023), Hong Kong Museum of Art (2022), Para Site in Hong Kong (2022) and Hong Kong Arts Centre (2021). Her work has been exhibited at various art festivals, including the Taiwan International Video Art Fair (2023), Kyotographie in Kyoto (2023) and the Singapore International Photography Festival (2018). Yuen Ya-Chi was shortlisted for the Para Site 2046 Incubation Grant in 2022 and the Hong Kong Human Rights Art Award in 2020. In 2019, she won the WMA Master Photography Award. Angie Yuen currently lives and works in Hong Kong.
