1994年生于新疆乌鲁木齐，2020年毕业于中央美术学院。现生活和工作于北京、乌鲁木齐。
艺术实践主要围绕人类技术“进化”下对事物的重新想象展开，内容涉及在地现实、艺术史及神话传说等。在龙炎的视角中，文化经验是被技术和历史线索共同淬炼的产物，他在创作中利用隐喻的手法，试图制造一种“图像肌理”，将遥远的过去和人造物的现代社会进行类比，打开“感觉的领域”使其成为叙事的楔子，赋予那些非典型经验有形的外衣。
Born in 1994 in Urumqi, Xinjiang Province, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2020. Currently lives and works in Beijing, Urumqi.
Art practice mainly focuses on reimagining things under the "evolution" of human technology, involving local reality, art history, myths and legends. In Long Yan's perspective, cultural experience is the product of being refined by technology and historical clues. In his creation, he tries to create an "image texture" by means of metaphor, comparing the distant past with the artificial modern society, opening up the "field of feeling" and turning it into a wedge of narrative, giving those atypical experiences a tangible cloak.
