Born in London, England in 2000, currently works and lives in London. He received Foundation Art & Design from UAL Camberwell in 2019-2020, BA Fine Art from Goldsmith University of London in 2020-2023, and MA Painting from Royal College of Art in 2023-2024.
Ollie White's artistic practice is largely based on incorporating found images into the imaginary space of painting. He sees painting as a tool to give new meaning to the images presented in his works - suggesting that the objects depicted have an anthropomorphic existence. He pays close attention to the materiality depicted in his works and studies his surroundings and the tension and connection with objects, raising questions about meaning, authenticity and desire. His works often explore a sense of independence and nothingness, imaginatively reconstructing real objects, and combining his own observations and memories to complete each work.
