Born in Italy in 1997, currently works and lives in Venice, Italy. She received her BA from the Florence Academy of Fine Arts and her MA from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts.
The images that appear in the artist's paintings are mostly related to intimate relationships: house, childhood, feelings. Camilla faces these themes from an openly female perspective, sometimes almost very obvious. The artist's work is not an ode to the memory of her grandmother's house, on the contrary, there is a contradictory feeling about it: on the one hand, when she looks at the old objects and places that remind her of her childhood with nostalgia, but on the other hand, she can see a subtle sense of uneasiness in them, a sense of confusion hidden under the seemingly sweetness, as if it hides everything that is not so sugar-coated. Painting is the main medium that has appeared in the artist's artistic creation from the beginning, but since last year she has felt the necessity and curiosity to explore installations, and for this reason, the artist began to try painting on ceramics of old tableware picked up from flea markets. She is currently conducting research on painting and installations at the same time.
