1997年生于非洲，现工作和生活于北京。
赖雨杉的绘画与版画实践通过对重复与迭代的领悟来实现记忆以拥抱特质。这些作品反映着她自幼在中国和西方两种不同文化之中成长的经历。即便疏离于双方文化，赖雨杉一直渴望在文化遗产与文化认同的框架中去理解身边的世界。她在过去与现在的自我间建立对话：从理解、接受我与她的双生姐妹之间的不同，到通过绘画来捕捉“语言”的纯粹性，如今以赖雨杉自己的方式创造家族肖像。
Born in Africa in 1997, currently works and lives in Beijing.
Lai Yushan’s painting and printmaking practice realizes memory to embrace identity through the understanding of repetition and iteration. These works reflect her experience of growing up in two different cultures, China and the West. Even though she is alienated from both cultures, Lai Yushan has always been eager to understand the world around her within the framework of cultural heritage and cultural identity. She establishes a dialogue between her past and present self: from understanding and accepting the differences between her twin sister and me, to capturing the purity of "language" through painting, and now creating family portraits in Lai Yushan's own way.
