1981年生于贵州，2003年毕业于四川美术学院，获学士学位，现工作生活于重庆。
早期以颠覆性的熊猫形象进入公众视野。其创作常自由来去于波普与古典元素之间，作品多以诙谐、批判、反讽、幽默等方式审视当今时代与个人生活。艺术家以凌厉的视角，将世间的“真实”解剖，并抛在观众面前。作为80后一代，高瑀对包括动漫、美术片、大众图像、民间美术等在内的多元文化摄取自如，代表了成长于图像时代的典型景观特征，其不拘一格的叙事语言，在传统叙事之外常令观众眼目一新，极大且丰富地拓宽了艺术家的表现力度。
Born in Guizhou in 1981, graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2003 with a bachelor's degree, currently works and lives in Chongqing.
In the early days, Gao Yu entered the public eye with his subversive panda image. His creations often move freely between pop and classical elements, and his works often examine the current era and personal life in a humorous, critical, ironic, and humorous way. The artist dissects the "reality" of the world with a sharp perspective and throws it in front of the audience. As a post-80s generation, Gao Yu is free to absorb multiple cultures including animation, art films, popular images, folk art, etc., representing the typical landscape characteristics of growing up in the image era.
