1984年出生于中国北京，现生活和工作于北京。2008年本科毕业于中央美术学院油画系，2015年硕士毕业于中央美术学院油画系。
苑瑗始终对自己所处的环境及女性的状态有着高度的敏感性，种种机缘和个人经历，让她开始对更加广博的自然环境与人的关系产生兴趣，在画面的主体中，女性逐渐隐入了繁花或植物之中，以具有象征意义的局部穿梭在暧昧不明的光影和缝隙之间，甚至彻底被隐去。苑瑗对植物的关注，实际仍然来自于她对于女性身份和个体精神状态等母题的探索。
Born in Beijing, China in 1984, currently lives and works in Beijing. Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 and graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2015.
Yuan Yuan has always been highly sensitive to her environment and the state of women. Various opportunities and personal experiences have made her interested in the relationship between the broader natural environment and people. In the main body of the picture, women gradually hide in the flowers or plants, and shuttle between the ambiguous light and shadow and gaps with symbolic parts, or even completely hide. Yuan Yuan's attention to plants actually still comes from her exploration of themes such as female identity and individual mental state.
