A Vietnamese-American artist born in 1971 in San Francisco, USA. He is fascinated by how simple figures can reveal so much about posture, stance, and personal space concerning people and surrounded environment. With oil pastel and acrylic as the primary medium of his creation, the artist loves capturing intimate moments and reimagining them with bold colors in simple structures to start spontaneous experiments. Luong's creative form is not limited to a single medium but is often presented in the plane or stereoscopic form. Drawing is different from photography, and Luong's paintings tend to capture more authentic emotions. Luong strives to stay honest and real to his subjects while enjoying the moment.
