1997年生于东北，毕业于中央美术学院，现工作生活于上海。
于宙的创作是对目前信息过载时代所面临的无力感的一种嘲讽，也提出了一种更加犀利和戏谑的角度去审视和庆祝我们的原始能力。他故意拥抱并放大这种所谓的”多动症状”，将其转化为一种文化力量，这种力量充满了不可预测性和原始的动能。艺术家通过身体的延伸部分（即扫描模型）进行行为表演，并将此类表演转化为一种影像说明书的形式，这一过程强调了身体的数字延伸与行为传播的重要性。这种做法不仅呈现了行为艺术的物理性和即时性，也探索了身体、行为与信息传递之间的互动关系。
Born in Northeast China in 1997, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and currently works and lives in Shanghai.
Yu Zhou's creations are a mockery of the powerlessness faced in the current era of information overload, and also propose a more sharp and playful perspective to examine and celebrate our primitive abilities. He deliberately embraces and amplifies this so-called "hyperactivity syndrome", transforming it into a cultural force that is full of unpredictability and primitive kinetic energy. The artist performs performances through the extension of the body (i.e., scanned models) and transforms such performances into a form of video instructions. This process emphasizes the importance of digital extension of the body and the dissemination of behavior. This practice not only presents the physicality and immediacy of performance art, but also explores the interactive relationship between body, behavior and information transmission.
