黄锐 Huang Rui ( b.1952 )

1952年出生于北京，现生活工作于北京。

黄锐是活跃于1980年前后的先锋艺术团体“星星画会”的发起人之一，他在艺术生涯早期受到西方不同流派的影响，汲取表现主义、抽象表现主义、野兽派和立体派的多种风格，创作自己的油画作品。然而，随着自身风格的发展，他的作品越来越具有实验性，并开始探索包括油画、雕塑、装置和行为艺术在内的多种领域。

Born in 1952 in Beijing, currently lives and works in Beijing.

Huang Rui was a founding member of the Chinese avant-garde art group The Stars, which was active around 1980. Huang's early works were infuenced by various Western trends such as Expressionism, Abstract Expressionism, Fauvism, and Cubism. However, as his style developed, he became more experimental and began exploring different mediums including oil painting, sculpture, installation, and performance art.
