1981年出生于辽宁省铁岭市，2006年鲁迅美术学院版画系毕业获得学士学位，2012年鲁迅美术学院水性材料工作室毕业，获得艺术硕士学位，现工作生活于北京。
王永学以铅笔为主要的绘画工具，用无数的笔触在纸上叠加形成印记，用像是某种自我修行的质朴方式去创造“斑斓”的灰色空间。王永学近来的绘画创作主要是围绕竹林和沙洲两个主题，他的画面造型有着纯粹性，抛弃了不必要的浮夸，回归朴素，在写实与抽象中探索，以更为客观和理性的态度来审视创作意图，在创作过程中也更加注重内在观念、实验性。
Born in Tieling City, Liaoning Province in 1981. He graduated from the Printmaking Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 2006 with a bachelor's degree. In 2012, he graduated from the Water-based Materials Studio of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree in art. He currently works and lives in Beijing.
Wang Yongxue uses pencil as his main painting tool, superimposes countless brushstrokes on the paper to form imprints, and uses a simple method that seems to be some kind of self-cultivation to create a "colorful" gray space. Wang Yongxue's recent painting creations mainly revolve around the two themes of bamboo forest and sandbank. His painting styles are pure, abandoning unnecessary exaggeration, returning to simplicity, exploring realism and abstraction, and looking at it with a more objective and rational attitude. Creative intentions, and more emphasis on inner concepts and experimentation during the creative process.
