1991年出生于中国上海，2018年毕业于威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校（University of Wisconsin-Madison）心理学与艺术双专业并获得理学学士学位，2022年毕业于芝加哥艺术学院（School of the Art Institute of Chicago）绘画专业并获得艺术硕士学位，现生活、工作于美国芝加哥。
尤加明擅长以动态的笔触表现荒凉的街头废墟与暴力攻击的场景，画面中爆裂的色彩留存着笔刷的动势。职业运动员与摄像机是其作品中经常出现的元素，通过将格斗表演置于被观看的视角下，她反思着暴力表象下观者与表演者之间的权力关系。
Born in Shanghai, China in 1991, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in Psychology and Art in 2018 and received a Bachelor of Science degree, and graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2022 ) majored in painting and received a master's degree in art. He currently lives and works in Chicago, USA.
Yu Jiaming is good at using dynamic brushstrokes to express desolate street ruins and scenes of violent attacks. The bursting colors in the picture retain the momentum of the brushstrokes. Professional athletes and cameras are elements that often appear in her works. By placing fighting performances from the perspective of those being watched, she reflects on the power relationship between viewers and performers under the surface of violence.
