1951年出生于上海，1973年创作上海人民美术出版社《广阔天地》年画条屏之《青年水库》，出版并参加上海及全国年画宣传画展览。1979年上海轻工业专科学校美术系专业任教。1981年赴纽约艺术学生联盟研习。现工作生活在上海。
Zhang Ping was born in 1951 in Shanghai. In 1973, Chen Yiming created "Youth Reservoir", which was published by Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House as one of the "Wide Worlds" yearbook screens, and took part in the Shanghai and national yearbook propaganda exhibition. In 1979, he taught at the Fine Arts Department of the Shanghai Light Industry College. In 1981, he went to New York to study at the Art Students' League. He now lives and works in Shanghai.
