1960年生于北京，1988年毕业于南京艺术学院，现生活工作于北京。
90年代以来，他以多重身份游离于绘画、雕塑、摄影、文字、标语口号、行动、装置等多种艺术形态之中，并借助大量的历史文献与政治社会事件，试图以自治的艺术主体搭建新型思想舞台与社会模型，使其成为日常的美学行动。近期他的主要工作是以行动与对话的方式实践艺术作为一种解放力量的可能。
Born in Beijing in 1960, graduated from Nanjing Art Institute in 1988, and currently lives and works in Beijing.
Since the 1990s, he has used multiple identities to engage in various art forms such as painting, sculpture, photography, text, slogans, actions, installations, etc., and with the help of a large number of historical documents and political and social events, he has tried to build an autonomous artistic subject. The new ideological stage and social model make it a daily aesthetic action. His recent main work is to practice the possibility of art as a liberating force through action and dialogue.
