1990年出生于山西大同，2014年毕业于中国美院壁画系漆艺专业，2015年毕业于伦敦艺术大学温布尔登艺术学院绘画专业获硕士学位，现工作生活于北京。
从创作始伊至今，刘丹棋专注在艺术中制造自己的倒影。把真实与梦境的融合，注视自己的心灵深处，让这些绘画扮演她的分身，记录着她的内心世界与想象，把作品中无穷无尽的生命体，或灵动或机械、或绚丽或平静的组织起来形成了汇聚万象的艺术世界。在刘丹棋的绘画中现实和非现实的界限变得模糊，梦境作为她潜意识的投影，不仅激发了她的创作灵感更像一座桥梁让观众与她有了更多的心灵沟通与共鸣。
Born in Datong, Shanxi Province in 1990, she graduated from the Mural Painting Department of the China Academy of Art in 2014, majoring in lacquer art. In 2015, she graduated from the University of the Arts London Wimbledon College of Art with a master's degree in painting. She currently works and lives in Beijing.
From the beginning of his creation to the present, Liu Danqi has focused on creating his own reflection in art. By merging reality and dreams, she looks into the depths of her soul, allowing these paintings to act as her avatar, recording her inner world and imagination, and incorporating the endless life forms in her works, whether agile or mechanical, gorgeous or peaceful. Organized to form an art world that brings everything together. In Liu Danqi's paintings, the boundaries between reality and unreality become blurred. As a projection of her subconscious, dreams not only inspire her creative inspiration, but also serve as a bridge that allows the audience to have more spiritual communication and resonance with her.
