刘月的作品常以客观事物为起点，通过认知体验的极限化介入，使得深入研究的过程具有强烈的不可知性和未知感。在这种时刻都被认知局限所寄生的线索里，认知的客观主体也会伴随着悖论式的逻辑而形成强烈的反物质性。以此证伪之势来观测认知过程中整体语境与具体事物间的联系，这使人充满好奇。在那些极限化的推演下，认知自身产生了“缝隙”。这种深入事物本质却萃取并提纯出“杂质”的过程恰恰是刘月极度痴迷的。
刘月于2017年获得华宇青年奖提名，2021年集美阿尔勒发现奖提名。

He explores the realm of objective subjects in his works, employing a profound intervention of cognitive experiences. This approach infuses his research process with a sense of agnosticism and the unknown. Liu Yue's works challenge cognitive limitations by creating a paradoxical logic, resulting in a strong anti-materiality between the subject of cognition and the contextual clues. This paradoxical relationship generates curiosity among observers as they observe the interplay between the overall context and the specific elements within the cognitive process, with the potential for falsification. Through extreme extrapolations, cracks emerge in the process of cognition, allowing for the extraction and purification of "impurities" from the essence of things—a concept that greatly fascinates Liu Yue.
Liu Yue was nominated for the Art Sanya Huayu Youth Award in 2017 and the Jimei Arles Discovery Award in 2021.
