1966年出生于上海，1987年毕业于上海出版印刷高等专科学校美术系，后进入上海电视台从事舞美设计。现工作生活于上海。
白红卫的作品主要以彩色铅笔及油画为媒介，创作致敬经典花鸟山水等系列，是一个审慎追求经典主义和视觉快感的保守派。他精心的控制和调整画面的构图、色彩、笔触、明暗关系、空间层次，追求视觉整体的和谐和完美。
Born in Shanghai in 1966, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Shanghai Publishing and Printing College in 1987 and later entered Shanghai TV station to engage in stage design. Currently working and living in Shanghai.
Bai Hongwei's works mainly use colored pencils and oil paintings as media, creating series that pay homage to classic flowers, birds, landscapes, etc. He is a conservative who prudently pursues classicism and visual pleasure. He carefully controls and adjusts the composition, color, brushstrokes, light-dark relationship, and spatial hierarchy of the picture, pursuing the harmony and perfection of the overall vision.
