李帆的作品，常常能够捕捉到和勾勒出生活里极其戏剧化和夸张的瞬间。就形式而言，李帆的创作使用了传统的中国画技法，这体现于作品突出的线条和轮廓，或画布上自然随意的笔触。自2001年起，李帆开始创作纸面艺术作品，并通过从水粉画到丙烯画的过渡，扩展着他对这一艺术媒介的探索。此外，李帆还对不同材料与纸张之间的关系、以及“边缘化”构图展开了大胆实践。另一方面，他也发展出了独具个人特色的表现主题和视觉语言。艺术家的早期绘画作品，从对当代生活的敏锐观察出发，细致入微地勾勒出了当下的日常生活和周围环境、以及人们的生活样态。李帆对人物细节幽默诙谐的刻画手法，成为了他标志性的艺术特征。
Born in Beijing in March 1966, he studied at the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1988 and served as the President of the Student Union. ; Graduated from the graduate class of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1995, and was elected as deputy secretary-general and director of the China Printmakers Association; in 2005, he served as director of the Basic Department of the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts; from 2007 to 2014, he served as deputy director of the Teaching Department of the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Member of the discipline group of the Central Academy of Fine Arts' plastic students; currently an associate professor and master's tutor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts; in 2013, he was appointed as an external expert in the Printmaking Department of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts; in 2017, he was appointed as a visiting professor at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts; in 2018, he was appointed as a graduate student at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. Li Fan's works can often capture and outline extremely dramatic and exaggerated moments in life. In terms of form, Li Fan's creations use traditional Chinese painting techniques, which are reflected in the prominent lines and contours of the works, or the natural and random brushstrokes on the canvas. Since 2001, Li Fan began to create works of art on paper, and through the transition from gouache painting to acrylic painting, he expanded his exploration of this artistic medium. In addition, Li Fan also carried out bold practice on the relationship between different materials and paper, as well as "marginal" composition. On the other hand, he also developed his own unique expressive themes and visual language. The artist's early paintings, based on his keen observation of contemporary life, meticulously sketched out the current daily life and surrounding environment, as well as people's living styles. Li Fan's humorous way of depicting character details has become his signature artistic feature.
