Born in Shandong in 1980s, graduated from the China Academy of Art in 2006 and now lives and works in Hong Kong.
Liu Ying takes the universe and nature as an important source of inspiration, hoping to express the energy state of the universe in visual language. She displays amazing explosive power, vitality and healing power with her beautiful abstract paintings. Liu Ying seeks to find a pathway to world understanding in a cross-cultural context, trying to rebuild a connection with the world for people by her paintings.
