1991年生于北京，2016年毕业于中央美术学院中国画学院获学士学位，2019年毕业于中国艺术研究院获硕士学位。现生活工作于北京，就职于中国艺术研究院工笔画院。
叶紫通过工笔绘画的技法和语言，在现实与精神、物质与内心世界之间建立了独特的对话。她的作品在现实意义上处理图式和媒材，同时从女性视角对周遭世界进行持续的分析和书写。她利用重组的图像和叙事方式探讨客观存在与内心世界的关系，以及身体的触觉、生命与时间、主客环境关系等问题。
“身体”是叶紫创作的核心主题，她将身体视为认识世界和表达自我的载体以及与精神世界建立联系的方式。画面中的身体与意象构成一种开放的关联，无论是内在部件器官还是外在机制躯体，都有物质机体和精神机能两种不可调和的矛盾因素，且始终处于相互转化的状态。
Born in Beijing in 1991, she graduated from the School of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in 2016, and graduated from the China Academy of Art with a master's degree in 2019. Currently lives and works in Beijing, where he works at the Institute of Fine Bi Painting of the China Academy of Art.
Through the techniques and language of gongbi painting, Ye Zi establishes a unique dialogue between reality and spirit, material and inner world. Her works deal with patterns and media in a realistic sense, and at the same time continue to analyze and write about the surrounding world from a female perspective. She uses restructured images and narrative methods to explore the relationship between objective existence and the inner world, as well as issues such as body touch, life and time, and the relationship between subject and object environment.
"Body" is the core theme of Ye Zi's creation. She regards the body as a carrier to understand the world and express herself, as well as a way to establish connection with the spiritual world. The body in the picture forms an open relationship with the image. Whether it is the internal parts and organs or the external mechanism of the body, there are two irreconcilable contradictory factors, the material body and the spiritual function, and they are always in a state of mutual transformation.
