1994年 生于浙江杭州，2016年毕业于南京艺术学院国画系 获学士学位，2019年毕业于中国美术学院国画系 获硕士学位，现工作生活于杭州。
“生命感”是吴茗依在绘画中持续表达的主题，如老子《道德经》所言：“致虚极，守静笃。” 艺术家在作品中追求的正是这种虚空与安静的生命状态。不论是花卉还是贝壳，它们都是时间的隐喻。墨色在绢布上一遍又一遍地加深，就像人的生命，在时间的叠加、累积中，缓缓生长，显现出不同的状态。
