1986年生于湖北省武汉市，2009年毕业于苏州大学艺术学院，现工作生活于北京。
孙静的作品具有强烈的情感投射，她通过重构记忆或想象中的场景，创造出一个架空而充满微妙情感的时空。孙静的画作常以人物为主角，人物和场景间产生的情感关系是她作品的核心。她专注于探索人的情绪的丰富性和微妙性，如青春的懵懂、蓄势待发的情欲，以及暧昧和若即若离的氛围。
孙静早期对于女性形象主题的创作受到中国仕女画和日本浮世绘的影响，但她不满足于传统范式，进一步结合西方科学绘画，在东西方艺术表达传统之间寻找平衡。在布局上，孙静由舞台式构图转向中国传统绘画中的“重屏”构图，在二维画面上利用屏风等元素划分出多重空间，创造出一种东方深闺丽人式的、神秘而又充满诗意的独立空间感，进一步展开对于传统与现代、公共与私密空间关系的探索。
Born in Wuhan, Hubei Province in 1986, graduated from the Art Institute of Suzhou University in 2009 and currently works and lives in Beijing.
Sun Jing's works have strong emotional projection. By reconstructing memories or imaginary scenes, she creates an imaginary time and space full of subtle emotions. Sun Jing's paintings often feature characters as the protagonists, and the emotional relationship between characters and scenes is the core of her works. She focuses on exploring the richness and subtlety of human emotions, such as youthful ignorance, ready lust, and ambiguity and aloofness.
Sun Jing's early creations of female images were influenced by Chinese lady paintings and Japanese ukiyo-e paintings. However, she was not satisfied with the traditional paradigm and further combined with Western scientific painting to find a balance between Eastern and Western artistic expression traditions. In terms of layout, Sun Jing shifted from stage-style composition to the "double-screen" composition in traditional Chinese painting. She used elements such as screens to divide multiple spaces on the two-dimensional picture, creating an oriental boudoir-style, mysterious and full of beauty. The poetic sense of independent space further expands the exploration of the relationship between tradition and modernity, public and private spaces.
