1994年生于北京，现创作生活于北京，2017年毕业于四川美术学院版画系，2022年毕业于中央美术学院版画系，获艺术硕士学位。现于中央美术学院攻读博士学位。
曹金岩的艺术实践关注媒介与心理的关系，在近期的研究中，由创伤经验介入当代议题的讨论，根植于艺术作为一种治疗形式的创作方式，在绘画媒介的边界上进行不断的探究。通过装置、绘画和写作等艺术语言的私秘性叙述，艺术家的作品试图通过隐蔽情感介入观者的观看体验，给予治愈的可能性。
Born in Beijing in 1994, she currently lives and works in Beijing. She graduated from the Printmaking Department of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 2017 and the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2022 with a Master of Arts degree. Currently studying for a doctorate degree at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Cao Jinyan's artistic practice focuses on the relationship between media and psychology. In recent research, traumatic experiences have been involved in the discussion of contemporary issues, rooted in the creative method of art as a form of therapy, and continuous exploration on the boundaries of painting media. Through private narratives in artistic languages such as installation, painting and writing, the artist's works attempt to intervene in the viewer's viewing experience through hidden emotions, giving them the possibility of healing.
