1991年生于河北，2021年油画系研究生毕业于日本京都市立艺术大学，现工作生活于河北。
周妍的绘画试图构建这样一个空间：它首先是“封闭的／私人的”，事物通过这里只能被感知，它随着人感知之力的变化而变化，是作者个人选择下的产物。同时它也是“没有边界的／普遍的”，它在万事万物之中，它存在于自己的呈现本身。图像就是这两种力的对抗。
Born in 1991 in Hebei, graduated in 2021 with a master's degree in oil painting from Kyoto City University of Arts in Japan. She currently works and lives in Hebei.
Zhou Yan's paintings attempt to construct a space that is firstly "enclosed/private," where things can only be perceived and change according to the fluctuations of human perception, a product of the artist's personal choice. At the same time, this space is also "boundless/universal," existing among all things and in its own presentation. The imagery is a confrontation of these two forces.
