字思寁，号息庵，别署西郭先生。1971年3月生于苏州，1989年就读于浙江美术学院中国画系书法篆刻专业本科，1993年入职苏州博物馆，2007年转任苏州美术馆副馆长。
Zi: Sihuan, hao: Xi'an, signature: Mr. Xiguo. Born in Suzhou in March 1971, he studied calligraphy and seal cutting at the Chinese Painting Department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1989. He joined the Suzhou Museum in 1993 and became the deputy director of the Suzhou Art Museum in 2007.
