李扬的实践包含了影像、数字输出以及架上绘画等多个媒介。他擅长将数字图像解剖并开发其内在的绘画性。他用像素级的精细度重新去理解绘画中的结构和颜色。虽然算法生成性的图像已经替代了大部分平面，但艺术家相信绘画承载的信息远不止于0/1；他将形象与姿势转译为电流般的细碎色彩，最终呈现出一种带有故障感的形式美学。
Born in 1991, graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in photography in 2015, currently lives and works in Beijing.
Leayoung's practice encompasses multiple media including video, digital output, and easel painting. He specializes in dissecting digital images and developing their inherent painterliness. He reconceptualizes the structure and color in painting with pixel-level refinement. While algorithmically generated images have replaced most planes, the artist believes that painting carries much more than 0/1; he translates the figure and gesture into an electric current of subtle color, ultimately presenting a formal aesthetic with a sense of glitch.
