1988年生于宁波，现生活工作于杭州。
黄靖杰的山水创作不仅是对纸张这一媒介的深入思考，也是他在主题上进行纵向延伸和探索的体现。通过折叠、分割、和穿插，艺术家在平面绘画中尝试了浅浮雕的效果，使画作本身生成出物性。黄靖杰近期的作品更呈现出东方性的探索，他利用绢的柔软和细腻，试图在折纸、山水、绢本这些软和硬的概念中寻找硬边几何和文人山水的平衡，从而更显画面的和谐构成。
同时，黄靖杰结合自己的观看经验，在经营位置、移步换景、画面留白的概念中寻找中西方文化的差异或相恰。他以纸造景，从不断结构与解构的西方图像逻辑中“解脱”而出，从理性的色彩构成中回归到感性的内心色彩的表达。
Born in Ningbo in 1988, currently lives and works in Hangzhou.
Huang Jingjie's landscape creations represent not only a deep contemplation of the medium of paper but also a vertical extension and exploration of his themes. By employing techniques such as folding, segmenting, and interlacing, the artist attempts to create a shallow bas-relief effect in his flat paintings, endowing the works with a physical presence. Huang's recent pieces exhibit an exploration of Eastern qualities. Utilizing the softness and delicacy of silk, he seeks to find a balance between the concepts of hard and soft, such as origami, landscapes, and silk painting, aiming for a harmonious composition that balances hard-edged geometry with the literati landscape.
At the same time, Huang Jingjie integrates his viewing experiences, exploring the differences or compatibilities between Eastern and Western cultures through the concepts of managing space, changing scenes with movement, and the use of negative space in paintings. He creates scenes with paper, 'liberating' himself from the continually structuring and deconstructing logic of Western imagery, returning from rational color compositions to the expression of sensual, inner colors.
