1981年出生于湖南，现工作生活于北京，自2003年开始作为职业艺术家进行创作。
廖建华被称作“二十年只画一张画的憨人”，“无相、日常与禅”是其作品的关键词，他如僧侣修行般绘画，将绘画还原成最为质朴的劳作，将对生活与生命的感知化零为整，融入无相的画面，同时也在绘画过程中进行自我精神与情感的疗愈。
Born in Hunan in 1981, he currently lives and works in Beijing. He has been creating as a professional artist since 2003.
Liao Jianhua is known as "the fool who only painted one painting in twenty years". "Shapelessness, daily life and Zen" are the key words of his works. He paints like a monk practicing and restores painting to the most simple work. The perception of life and life is broken into pieces and integrated into the formless picture. At the same time, the self-spiritual and emotional healing is carried out in the painting process.
